One way to spend a Saturday

27 Sep 2017

What do you have planned for your Pauanui weekend?

Here’s one way to spend a Saturday…

Pop down to The Bakery and pick up an early takeaway coffee (they're now open from 6am).

Take it to the south end of Pauanui Beach and sit on the bench while enjoying the peace & beauty of staring out to sea over the dunes.  Kick off your shoes and take a long slow stroll along the beach, saying g’day to all the friendly people and dogs you encounter along the way.

Call into Pauanui Supervalue for the weekend paper and some cleaning supplies so you can finally get stuck into your spring cleaning.

Quickly duck into Hello Friday, Trove and Outback Surf before heading home for a sneaky peak at all their new season stock.

Bump into friends while you’re down at the Village, stand outside on the pavement chatting for half an hour before realising it’s lunchtime.

Decide to continue the conversation over lunch in the sun in JK’s fabulous new courtyard. Hours pass...you realise it’s 2.30pm and you haven’t even started on your spring cleaning and hubby’s at home probably still waiting for his weekend paper...oops!

Dash home, do a few chores in the house and backyard, wear yourself out and decide the best way to to spend your Saturday night is with fish and chips from Pauanui Takeaways.  Add to that a cheeky vino and a decent dvd from Pauanui Liquor and DVD and you couldn’t ask for a sweeter Saturday!

Stay tuned for more ways to spend a Saturday in Pauanui...
